This week on 8th March we as women get to celebrate a remarkable day, “International Women’s Day” and it is on this ground that today’s WCW is based on this celebration.
This years International Women’s Day campaign theme is “Think equal, build smart and innovate for change.
It is a focal point in the movement of women’s rights.
The story of women’s struggles for equality belong to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.
Suppose you have a neighbour who is purposely preventing his daughter from going to school. Not because of lack of resources but on grounds that “Education is only meant for the boy child, the females are meant to stay home and take care of it”.
How would you as a literate and knowledgeable person convince this parent that girls too need an education?
Have a lovely day and stay safe.
